Day 1: Kigali city tour
After breakfast at the hotel at 8am, you will embark on a city tour of Kigali to Genocide memorial and after transfer to Mount Kigali for ziplining and canopy walk.

Day 2: Drive to Nyungwe via Cultural Corridor
After breakfast, you will drive to the ancient King’s palace at Nyanza, and National Museum (Ethnographic Museum) at Huye. The King’s Palace is less about ancient history and more about royal residences. A guided tour explains some of the architectural idiosyncrasies inside the royal compound and other curiosities such as why the woman who looked after the king’s milk was never able to marry. Continue with Ethnographic Museum; one of Africa finest ethnographic collection. It was given to the city as a gift from Belgium in 1987 to celebrate 25 years of independence. Here, you get a rich insight into Rwandans culture with its seven galleries that cover an impressive array of topics on almost anything about Rwanda you can imagine: banana beer, geology, cosmology, farming, music, dance, poetry, history, tools, hunting, animal husbandry, weaving, woodwork and transport. After a leisurely lunch in Huye, you will continue your journey in the jungle.

Nyanza King’s Palace Museum
Day3: Waterfall hike and Canopy walk
After breakfast, with packed, you will go for waterfall hike, Nyungwe’s biggest waterfall and the inspiration for the trail’s name” isumo means waterfall in Kinyarwanda”. At roughly 17 m in height, it is even more impressive for the force with which it shoots through a narrow gap into a stunning amphitheater, lined with fluttering fronds of ferns, flowers and lianas, all thriving in the mist zone of the fall. There are caves in the overhanging cliffs, and a rainbow in the spray on sunny days. Three km to the east, and 100 m higher in elevation, lies the bottom of the thirteen square kilometer Kamiranzovu Marsh, which drains over the rim of this water-carved canyon.
Later after lunch you will go for canopy walk. The canopy walkway gives an exhilarating perspective on the ancient treetops, bird’s eye view of the Albertine Rift endemic species and countless butterflies, meals and accommodation at the lodge

Day4: Drive back to Kigali
After breakfast, you will go for boat cruise to visit different islands such as Peace Island, Monkey Island and Napoleon Island named because it has the shape of Napoleon’s hat. Napoleon Island is home to a large colony of bats which a short climb brings you face-to-face with them. Later after lunch you will relax at the lake shore. Meals and accommodation at Rwiza Village

Day 5: Drive back to Kigali
After breakfast, you will be transferred back to Kigali for your flight back home
