Itinerary

Depart from Arusha in the morning and drive to Lake Manyara National Park, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll go on a game drive to spot the famous tree-climbing lions and flocks of flamingos that inhabit the area. Other wildlife you may encounter include elephants, buffaloes, and giraffes. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge or campsite.

After breakfast, depart for the Serengeti National Park. This journey will take you through the rich agricultural and scenic areas of the Ngorongoro highlands before entering the endless plains of the Serengeti. Upon arrival, you’ll have a short game drive before enjoying a picnic lunch. After lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive where you may witness lions, cheetahs, elephants, and large herds of wildebeest. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or campsite.

Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti National Park with morning and afternoon game drives. The Serengeti is known for its incredible concentrations of wildlife, particularly during the Great Migration, when over a million wildebeests and hundreds of thousands of zebras and gazelles cross the plains in search of greener pastures. You’ll also have the chance to spot predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Return to your lodge or campsite for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, leave the Serengeti for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route, stop at the Olduvai Gorge Museum, where some of the oldest human remains have been found. This important archaeological site offers fascinating insights into early human history. After the visit, proceed to your accommodation in Ngorongoro for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most spectacular wildlife viewing areas in Africa. The crater floor is home to over 25,000 large animals, including black rhinos, buffalos, lions, and hippos. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor and spend the rest of the afternoon on a game drive before returning to your lodge or campsite for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and distinctive baobab trees. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch and then embark on an afternoon game drive, where you’ll have the chance to see elephants, giraffes, lions, and other wildlife. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or campsite.

Begin your day with a pre-breakfast game drive in Tarangire National Park. Afterward, have breakfast and then make your way back to Arusha, arriving in the early afternoon. This marks the end of your exciting 7-day safari.
