Your journey starts with an early morning departure from Kampala, heading north towards Murchison Falls National Park. The scenic drive offers views of Uganda’s rolling hills, traditional villages, and vast farmlands. Upon entering the park, you will make your way to the top of Murchison Falls, where you can witness the mighty Nile River squeeze through a narrow gorge and plunge down into the Devil’s Cauldron with a thunderous roar. The mist rising from the falls creates a stunning permanent rainbow, providing the perfect backdrop for photos. After visiting the falls, you’ll head to your lodge for an overnight stay.

Day two starts with an early morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile, offering the best opportunity to spot wildlife. With the help of an experienced ranger, you’ll drive through the savannah grasslands and woodlands, seeking out elephants, giraffes, buffalos, lions, leopards, and various species of antelopes. The park’s diverse wildlife and sweeping landscapes provide a photographer’s dream.

In the afternoon, you’ll embark on a boat cruise along the Nile, heading towards the base of Murchison Falls. Along the riverbanks, you’ll see hippos, crocodiles, and an array of waterbirds, including the elusive Shoebill. The cruise offers breathtaking views and a chance to see the falls from a different perspective.

On your final day, you’ll visit Budongo Forest, located in the southern part of Murchison Falls Conservation Area, for a chimpanzee trekking experience. The forest is home to a large habituated chimpanzee group, as well as various monkey species such as black-and-white colobus and olive baboons. Trek through the dense forest with your guide as you search for chimpanzees in their natural habitat, listening to their calls echoing through the trees.

After your chimpanzee trek, enjoy lunch before starting the return journey to Kampala, arriving in the late afternoon or evening.
